About Tiny

Hi! I'm Abby, the author of this blog. My elf on the shelf, Tiny, gave me the idea to write this blog, and you know what? I'm glad I did.

I got my elf in 2009, and got the name from Dinosaur Train, which is a show I think you've all seen. I thought Tiny would make a good name for a elf on the shelf, 'cause, well, they are tiny you know.

Elf on the shelf is a good christmas tradition that not all families know about, so I hope this blog will inspire your kids to ask Santa for a elf on the shelf this year. I will try to update it every day until Christmas Eve, which is when Tiny leaves. I will keep doing this blog 'till Tiny leaves for good, (or maybe when I go to college) which I do not think will happen.

This is how elf on the shelf works: 1. You get your elf. 2. You name him 3. You write down his name, what year you got him, and what family he belongs to in the back of the elf on the shelf book 4. He watches you to see if you are being good or bad 5. At the end of the day, when everyone is asleep, (even Mom and Dad!) he gets out of his hiding place, flies to the North Pole, reports to Santa if you were good or bad  6. He finds another hiding place in your house, and then starts step 4, 5, and 6 every night until Christmas Eve, which is when he leaves.

Hope you have fun with your elf on the shelf,
Abby Frushour

P.S. I would like to give a special thanks to the elf club, which is Brock, Alex, Carson, Kyleigh, and Jacqueline. Thanks for helping me come up with the idea to have the elf club!
